Introduction
Travio (the “App”) is developed and operated by Gokksoft (“we”, “us” or “Gokksoft”). This Privacy Policy explains which personal data is processed when you use the App, how that data is used, and the rights you have.
By downloading or using the App you accept the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Data we collect
The App processes the following data in order to provide its features:
The App does not collect data for personalised advertising and does not show third-party ads.
- Your trip plans and notes (stored on your device)
- Plan data used to generate AI-assisted suggestions
- Technical information such as device model, operating system version and app version
- Crash and error logs (no personally identifying data)
- Aggregated and anonymous usage statistics
How we use the data
- To provide and maintain the core features of the App
- To remember your preferences and keep the experience consistent
- To detect and fix errors and to improve performance
- To prevent misuse and protect the security of the App
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to requests
- To understand, in aggregate and anonymously, how the App is used
Legal bases for processing
We process personal data in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). Our legal bases are:
- Performance of a contract: providing the App’s features to you
- Legitimate interests: keeping the App secure, stable and free of errors
- Legal obligation: complying with applicable law and lawful requests
- Consent: for optional processing such as anonymous usage statistics, where consent is required

Retention
Data stored on your device remains there until you delete it in the App or remove the App from your device.
Technical records such as crash logs are kept for no longer than 12 months, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Longer retention required by law is an exception to these periods.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. Data stored on your device benefits from the protections provided by your operating system.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at info@gokksoft.com and we will delete it.
Your rights
Under the KVKK and the GDPR you have the following rights:
You can send your requests to info@gokksoft.com. We respond within 30 days at the latest.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board or, in the EU, with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

International transfers
We keep data on your device wherever possible. Where a transfer is necessary (for example through app store infrastructure), it is carried out in line with Article 9 of the KVKK and the relevant GDPR provisions, with appropriate safeguards in place.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For significant changes we will notify you in the App or on this page. The current version is always published here together with its effective date.
